5 Ways to Make Doing Laundry at a Laundromat More Enjoyable

1.    Stream TV Shows/Watch a Movie All our locations have free Wi-Fi access.  Bring in your tablet and catch up on the latest episodes of your favorite TV show or binge a show you have been meaning to watch.  Have the kids with you?  Grab some popcorn or chips and some candy from our vending area and watch a movie.  Kids or no kids, this is a great time to chill out for a couple of hours and watch a movie without interruption.

2.    Read a Book Most of us don’t have time to sit and read these days, if you are like us you have time to read some quick snippets of current events, but an entire novel is out of the question.  Waiting for your laundry to wash and dry is a great time to stop, relax, and read that novel you have been wanting to check out. Get lost in a book and relax.

3.    Catch Up on Email Whether it is personal email messages or work-related email, a full inbox is no fun.  While you wait, take a minute to scroll through all the messages you missed and respond.  We have free Wi-Fi access, so this chore can be crossed off your list in no time, it can also make your laundry time fly by.

4.    Chat with Friends/Family Chat with someone, with your voice, over the phone, a revolutionary idea.  These days most of us have time to email or text, we never seem to sit and have a conversation over the phone.  This is a good time to give that special someone a call and gab about the latest in your lives.

5.    Get Your Shopping Done Whether it’s shopping for household items, clothes, or groceries online shopping is a great way to pass the time and save yourself a trip to the store.  Most sites offer free shipping or free pick up, which saves you from going up and down the aisles.  Knock out your weekly shopping errands online while you wait for your laundry. While laundry may not be your favorite thing to do it can be less painful when you are doing something more enjoyable. Of course, if you really don’t want to do your laundry we can do it for you!  Just drop off your loads at one of our locations and we can wash it, dry it, and fold it.  We can even pick up your dirty laundry and deliver the clean laundry to you.  All you need to do is put it away!
