ABOUT US

Welcome to our Laundromats...

Diane & T.J. have been involved in the laundromat industry since 1992, when they purchased their first laundromat in Chicago Heights. However, the family has a long history in the laundromat business, as T.J.'s parents owned and operated the "Norge Village Dry Cleaners & Laundromats" through the 1960's and 1970's.

Over the last 20 years, Diane and T.J. have been owners/operators of 9 laundromats in the Chicago area, including Chicago Heights, Crest Hill, Downers Grove, Hickory Hills, Plainfield, Shorewood, Westmont and 2 in Woodridge.

They currently operate laundromats in Downers Grove, Hickory Hills, and Plainfield; bringing 45 years of combined laundromat experience to their customers.

Latest News...

In 2020 and 2021 Soap Opera Laundromats began transitioning all four laundromats to the new San-O3-Wash System.

The San-O3-Wash System is an innovative new system that uses a perfect amount of ozone in every wash cycle, giving customers peace of mind, knowing that the washers have been completely sanitized!

Adding ozone to the wash allows the use of lower-temperature water (if desired) in a hot cycle; which will substantially reduce the carbon footprint of the store and reduce the wear on fabrics!
